I have Windows NT and 2000 installed on separate drives on one machine. Are there any files that I need to keep when removing the NT files from the hard drive?

Answer:
If your W2k system was installed on a separate hard disk (for example D:\) (fileSystem, drivers, documents...), you can delete all folders and files on Disk C, except the following files:

Autoexec.bat
Config.sys
Boot.ini
Bootfont.bin
Bootsect.dos
Command.com
IO.sys
MSDOS.sys
NTDETECT.com
NTLDR

After, the boot.ini must be change to load only Windows2000.

Remember: a recording or backup of the disk C:\ is a good idea.
